In an interview with ArtistConnect, RYDER JOHNSON talks about his beginnings as a producer, what it's like to be a part of Internet Money, and his future plans.
How did you start producing music?
RYDER JOHNSON: I wanted to do EDM at first, but it just wasn't clicking lol. I got into early Chief Keef and Waka Flocka Flame and immediately watched tutorials, from what I remember.
You are part of Internet Money. How did it come about?
RYDER JOHNSON: As far as I know, Jonathan Hicks was vouching for me, and I had this #1 album in rock with City Morgue. Taz Taylor joined my Instagram live while making a beat. He commented "join Internet Money."
Which of your productions are you particularly proud of?
RYDER JOHNSON: I like being outside the box and trying new stuff. But honestly, it's probably "CHOPPA SHOOT THE LOUDEST" or the song I did with Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine and Mike Posner.
What can we expect from you in the future?
RYDER JOHNSON: I'm always working, but I'm going to try to do more solo releases and other projects.
Thank you for the interview, RYDER JOHNSON!
